STUDENTS ACCOUNTABILITY

HOHA wants to motivate our students to do their best and take responsibility for their learning. So holding students accountable for their own success is critical if we want to improve their outcomes.

So to promote student accountability we have focused on several strategies empowering them to take ownership of their learning.

  • Create a culture of trust and responsibility- here students must learn to manage their emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, build positive relationships, and make responsible choices.
  • Set high standards and clear expectations- students are encouraged to set high goals which is possible if they apply themselves to the task at hand.
  • Take ownership of the learning process- students must assume responsibility for their learning by being in charge of their success by assessing their own work and commitment to classwork and studying.
