What programs do you offer?
We focus on qualifying all of our students with our rigorous cosmetology program.Our 1,000 hour cosmetology course curriculum helps focus on everything from theory to hands-on technical skills.
Are books included in your tuition?
No, books and are not included in your tuition but can be purchased from us.
Do you accept transfer students?
Yes, students applying for transfer of credit from previous training must meet our admission requirements. They must submit proof of hours and also be tested and evaluated by our admissions staff. If a student has passed both the testing and evaluation, must also pass a written and practical test with a minimum passing grade of 75%, this must also be approved by the School Director and agreed upon by the student.
Do I need to have a high school diploma?
Yes, students must possess a high school diploma or GED.

We are certified to accommodate students with disabilities, and are proud to assist those who are hearing impaired.
What is the process involved with preparing for state exams?
H.O.H.A. will assist students by preparing them with practical and theoretical training, which will fully cover what is needed to take the New York State Board of Cosmetology exams.
